RETURNS & SHIPPING

RETURNS AND EXCHANGE OF DAMAGED GOODS

Sister Mediums does not accept returns or exchanges, all sales are Final.

Refunds are NOT offered as majority of our products are one of a kind, handmade and handpicked from different parts of the world, except in the case of damaged or defective goods.  

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

If your order arrives damaged, please take pictures of your parcel both before and after you open it. We will need these photos to file an insurance claim with our shipping courier.

In order to return or exchange damaged goods you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and once authorized, must ship any item(s) back to us within 7 days at YOUR EXPENSE or make an appointment to come into the studio with the damaged item within 7 days.

Damaged goods may be replaced for the same item. If that item is no longer in stock, you will receive a store credit for the same amount you purchased your item for.

All discounted goods are FINAL SALE. In the case of further discounts, we do not offer price adjustments on previously placed orders. 

To be eligible for a return that is damaged, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you find one of your products is defective, please contact us immediately to assess and rectify. An original receipt is required as proof of purchase to honour an exchange. Must be approved first. Please contact us at sistermediums@gmail.com

SHIPPING

PROCESSING TIMES & SHIPPING

Once your order is placed, it can take 2-4 business days before it is packaged and handed over to the carrier to ship. Most orders are shipped within 24-48 hours as we ship out orders Monday through Friday. On average orders within Ontario arrive within 3-5 business days and 5-7 business days outside Ontario. Any custom orders will take longer to prepare, please allow for this time. We cannot guarantee shipping times. The times given at checkout are ESTIMATES ONLY,  due to delays present with Covid shipping times can be longer than normal. Please also consider that Holidays and inclement weather can slow carrier delivery times.   

TRACKING

You will receive a tracking # direct from the carrier for your order. Sometimes estimates are incorrect and could arrive sooner or later than it indicates. If the tracking is not updating after 4 business days, please email sistermediums@gmail.com so we can look into this for you. 

*PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOUR NAME & ADDRESS ARE CORRECT IN YOUR  ACCOUNT BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER*  We ship to the name & address that you supply to us from your account. We are not responsible for packages sent to the wrong address, missing or returned. Once your package has shipped, we cannot make any address changes. If a package is returned to us, we will re-ship at buyers expense to correct address. We reserve the right to refund your order, minus the original shipping cost should you choose to not re-pay for the new shipping charges. 

Any orders, especially those over $100 may be sent via signature required. 

If you want your package to be insured, we suggest you purchase insurance at checkout. 

Our shipping charges are based on each carriers calculated shipping costs. Shipping charges includes the postage, as well as, all necessary boxes/envelopes and packing materials needed to ensure your item arrives intact.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: We currently do not ship internationally.
